In this account " The Snows of Kilimanjaro", the writer Ernest Hemingway has quite simply two key characters, Harry and his partner, Helen. Through this quote, the narrator depicts part of Harry " He previously destroyed his talent by simply not using it, by betrayals of himself and what he supported, by ingesting so much that he blunted the edge of his awareness, by laziness, by sloth, and by snobbery, by pleasure and by misjudgment, by lift and by criminal. " (Hemingway, Page 2213) Harry's ability was that he could do whatever we put his mind to, and having been just sluggish and let that slip aside. In many modernistic stories you usually finds out that the primary character is some what alienated by everyone. Through this stories circumstance that is true, also. Harry, goes through his own time and just wants to be left alone. This individual gets unwell, and this individual just would like to give up most hope. It appears like once something goes wrong, or perhaps doesn't get his method he just gives up. He drinks a lot during this tale to wash aside his problems and he doesn't treatment that his wife promises that it is damaging to his health. All he can say inturn is that he is going to die anyways. This can be a main section of the story. The symbolism through this story adds to the depth from it. Symbols are more comfortable with represent tips or qualities in a history.
